I am trying to build a better self, to move from survival mode to something more fulfilling. And resist turning this into a kitty blog.

Art & Entertaining (Sunday Snippets)

Sunday Snippets

We had a cold, rainy storm (by San Diego standards) on Friday night, but we were safe inside with our friends, eating cabbage and cauliflower manicotti (adapted from this recipe) and drinking wine and playing with Hamilton. Lucky us!

Saturday was clear and cool. A perfect day for farmers market, a little painting, and then a walk to Tiger! Tiger! for a sour beer tap takeover for San Diego Beer Week

This morning has been lazy. We set the clocks back, so it feels luxuriously late in the morning, but the clocks say otherwise! See other Sunday Snippets posts here

Oh, I miss San Diego! We lived there for nearly seven years but have been back on the east coast for 8. It was wrenchingly hard for me to leave. My son was born there, and I'll always feel connected somehow. I love your Sunday Snippets! It never occurs to me to post on the weekend, but I love the little recap. Sounds like a great time! xo
