Hello, my name is Christy. I live in San Diego, CA with my husband and our kitty, where we basically like to wander our neighborhood, host shindigs, and make things. Or at least try to make things.

I first became interested in the bombshell idea and ideal in my later 20's, as I came to grips with my self-destructive tendencies, my kinder-punk wardrobe, and concepts of feminity and feminism in the 21st century. Building a "better bombshell" isn't so much about re-constructing a mid-20th century starlet's wardrobe (though I'm totally open to that), as it is about exploring and finding my best self in this world. Especially now that I'm a married lady in my 30s. 

So this blog is basically my self-absorbed chronicle of self-improvement, with hopefully at least a dash of exploration of femaleness thrown in from time to time.
