Hi Christy - thanks for commenting on my blog. I haven't been as cogizant of creating a truly beautiful and interesting a blog - and I lack focus - which is why I am taking the BYW class.
I love the pictures on your blog and your very down-to-earth tone - It's very refreshing. What type of camera do you have? I am in the process of buying a better camera - an SLR and to learn how to take better photos.
I loved your kitty pics - what a beautiful cat. It's great to have an alternative topic to add when you don't have time and/or you have writer's block. Looks like I'll have to get a pet! I'm a dog person (but I love cats too - had a beautiful cat for 13 years...who tolerated my dogs). My husband doesn't want to get another dog (my last one died a few years ago) until I retire - because he is retired and does not want to ahev all the responsibility of training a puppy. I am too young to retire - and I have trouble even thinking of not working! So - I may just have to go out and buy a dog - and just wait til he falls in love with it!
When you did your first homework - what did you write as to what you wanted to accomplish from your blog? That first assignment was very helpful to me.
Your pics of SD also make me want to visit your fair city again. I've been there twice for short business trips. It'sgorgeous...and the weather can't be beat - even with Santa Ana winds!
In the first assignment I wrote that I am looking to find my voice and practice photography and help encourage over-all self-improvement.
We aren't allowed to have dogs in our apartment complex. I don't know if we would have ever decided to adopt a cat if Ham hadn't crawled into our engine as a kitten, and taken a ride around the neighborhood. When my husband turned off the radio and we heard the plaintive mewing coming from the engine we just about had heart attacks right there. Of course we had to keep him!
Hi Christy: Thanks for stopping by my blog....I took blogging your way last fall and decided I wanted to take a refresher a year later to see how far I had come and where I would still like to go with my blogging. My blog is part of my business but also a look into creativity and design....thanks so much for stopping by and I do hope you will join us next year for the retreat....it was awesome...
