- Learn to play guitar
- Live in another country for 6 months-1 year
- Learn to can/preserve. Do 12 batches.
- Write a book of poetry
- Be a lead singer in a band
- Blog 6 days a week for 6 months
- Visit Croatia
- Discover my "passion" (aim high, right?), what I want to do
- Visit that bone church in Prague
- Plant and maintain a vegetable garden for one year
- Make a quilt
- Start a business
- Exercise like a normal person (4x/week?) for a year/permanently
- Visit 6 continents (2 so far)
- Learn to knit
- Take a cross-country road trip
- Wear a size 8
- Visit Russia
- Be conversational in 3 languages: English, Spanish, ________
- Set foot in all 50 states (17 so far)
- Learn to ride a bike well enough to use it for regular transportation
- Finish 10 paintings (3 so far)
- Participate more directly in abolitionism
- Sell something created by me
- Take pictures of/in the abandoned subway stations in NYC
- Host 100 parties
- Start (and maintain) a holiday tradition
- Sew a dress for myself
- Make a pie (including crust) from scratch
- Attend Loi Krathong
- Brew a batch of beer by myself
- Own a house, preferably a craftsman or California bungalow (Portland Bungalow)
- Enter one of our beers in a homebrew competition
- Camp in the desert
- Purchase 5 original pieces of art that I love (1. Salt & Brine by Meg Bundy, 2. Fantastic Decisions by Alex Barrett, 3. Rufous Throated Tanager by Abby Diamond)
- Attend Burning Man
- Learn to roller skate
- Cook a rabbit
- Learn to use my camera
- Make a coffee table book
- Make a lamp out of a suitable object
- Cultivate an understanding of and palate for whisky and choose a favorite/trademark brand/style/blend
- Fly a kite at a park on a beautiful summer day
- Memorize 20 poems
- Find a dentist
- Learn to break down a whole chicken
- Organize a weekend vacation with my girlfriends
- Stock an earthquake/emergency kit
- Write and send 50 letters to loved ones
- Make fancy chocolates from scratch(ish)
- Put together a family recipe book
- Finish or abandon my pending creative projects
- Listen to blues in New Orleans
- Learn to cook from the pantry (as opposed to carefully shop per recipe)
- Keep a well-stocked pantry
- Learn my family's applesauce recipe
- Visit Bali
- Get a manicure and pedicure (pedicure)
- Develop (or adopt) a signature spaghetti sauce recipe
- Attend Oktoberfest in Munich
- Make a clock
- Learn to butcher
- Take a silly family portrait
- Write a comic book/graphic novel
- Visit Venice, Italy (the whole dorky gondola touristy shebang, out-of-the-way Venetian food, etc.)
- Take a West Coast road trip/beer tour, San Diego to Seattle
- Go wine tasting on the Central Coast
- Re-upholster a wing-back chair

- Read or discard any books in my library I haven't read yet (husband's books exempt)
- Not have to *worry* about money
- Get to know every museum at Balboa Park
- Visit the Winchester Mystery House
- Give all handmade gifts one Christmas
- Find/join a church
- Write a song on the guitar
- Raise/keep chickens
- Get a massage
- Learn to shoot a pistol
- Work for a San Diego beer bar or brewer
- Memorize a book of the Bible
- Roast my own coffee beans
- Cook and eat 6 different winter squash (Butternut, Spaghetti...)
- Create a tumblr meme entertaining at least to my husband and myself
- Practice Stoicism
- Discover 5-10 favorite recipes in each of my cookbooks. If there aren't even that many, discard the book.
- Be a guest on a podcast
- Learn to play the ukulele
- Find the perfect city to make my home, or be convinced that San Diego is truly it. (Portland, OR)
- Have a beer named after me
- Complete The Artist's Way
- Wake up at 6am 4 days per week for a year
- Donate $5,000 to a charity
- Learn to ride a motorcycle
- Start and finish 500 art and craft projects
- Open an Etsy store
- Read 50 non-fiction (non-inspirational, non-self help) books
- Get in the habit of sending birthday cards and thank you notes
- Draw my life for a year
- Meet 5 of my long-time Internet friends (I'm looking at you, poolies) in person
